The Host's Story
Welcome to The Greenside Cottages, a reflection of our family’s love for hospitality, culture, and island living in Antigua and Barbuda.
As a West Indian, welcoming others into the home has always been second nature. That way of life grew even richer through my husband, who is French, as our family became a blend of cultures coming together through simple moments in our garden with friends and family.
Hosting was never about formality, but about warmth, conversation, and making people feel comfortable the moment they arrive. With our dual cultural background, we enjoyed meeting new people from different walks of life, and naturally had open doors, welcoming the ones we have met along the way. Over the years, our home became a place where friends and family came together to relax, have a good time or even stay for a few days.
Our love for meeting new people and hosting our close friends and family is what inspired us to open our space to travellers from around the world. Adjacent to our home, we created private cottages surrounded by nature, and in 2003, welcomed our first guests. From that moment on, hosting professionally became part of our family’s story.

Being a quiet and relaxing base for travellers, we encourage our guests to explore the island with curiosity, ease, and an appreciation for authentic local experiences.
The Greenside Cottages is a home base for you to step out, explore, and experience Antigua as it truly is. From nearby beaches just 5 minutes drive away, to local bakeries, gyms, and everyday island spots, everything you need is in your reach.
Here, life slows down. Mornings begin with the sound of birds and island adventure, then ends with unwinding in our breezy tranquil garden or a stop at the beach for sunset.
